Zipline
Climb into a van filled with people who are ready for one thing; zipline!! After meeting at the Skyline Eco-Adventures shop, getting weighted to ensure everyone will be safe on the lines, climb into a van to head up the side of the ancient volcano. Water bottles will be handed out for you, so take them while zipping among the trees.
After we arrived to the top, we had a brief safety talk, and learned how to get into our harnesses. Our two tour guides then proceeded to strap us onto the ropes above our heads. As soon as we were ready, jump off, trust the gear, and fling down the line. In a matter of moments, you leap over a large area full of trees, and other plants, and are on the platform on the other side.
Once everyone in your group has zipped across, walk a short distance to come across the other ziplines. Each one has a name, and small legend next to them. They are on a sign, so to learn more about the myths, check these out!
By the time we had zipped on all eight lines, we were transported back up the volcano side to where we began our adventure. Here we made a sudden turn to head a different direction, and headed to the small swim area. While your group can change into their swimwear, the staff organizes the harnesses so they remain in good condition.
After your done swimming, head back down the volcano side, and back to the shop. Talk about your trip with your new friends who zip lined with you, and talk about future plans.
