Skagway
The area of Skagway (beautiful women) has had a turbulent history. To the natives that lived there, this location had rough seas due to the strong wind that came through. They became proficient at hunting, fishing, and trade. When people began to move to this location, it was surveyed that this could be a great area to discover gold, but with it being so far, little was thought of this. When gold was discovered, this town became a boom! It became a center where gold miners would begin their journey into the Yukon, be able to buy supplies for the journey ahead, or be swindled out of their cash. As such, it became a lawless town governed by corrupt leaders who controlled the police and media. Today, this town is not only rich in this history, but are welcoming, warm, and excited to see visitors, and the quaint streets are fun to explore.
