The famous death mask is one of many beautiful gold pieces found here.

One museum that for sure is a must. Want to have the chance to see hundreds of pieces from different Greek locations, but not the time, than come here!

As soon as you enter, notice that there are different rooms containing everything. Head to the room directly in front of you. This room houses golden pieces from the Macedonians, and Mycenes such as paintings, and the death mask of Agamemnon (though it is more commonly believed not to be from the fabled king), to finely decorated ostrich eggs. Of to the side, many statues such as the horse jockey, and the statue of Poseidon or Zeus is near.

Flying fish that once was a wall decoration.

Keep weaving your way around these rooms to find more treasures. Other rooms contain skilled bronze pieces, sphinx, jewelry, coins, headstones, and so much more. If it is anything that is Greek, it will be found within the walls of this museum. Just remember to keep your entry ticket available to go between rooms. There is a scanner off to the side of each entryway.

Jockey and horse sprinting as fast as they can. The detail in this statue is captivating.

I felt that even though I had seen major highlights, I could have spent the whole day here. To capture everything with plenty of time to explore, I recommend spending most of your day here first.

Entry into the museum will cost 7 Euro, large bags need to be checked in as you enter, and pictures are allowed.
