The country of Albania has had a turbulent history. It has been influenced by many different tribes, cultures, and ideologies. Through this, Albania has been through many ups and downs economically, and yet the people have remained strong. Today, Albania is looking with enthusiasm toward a brighter future. The people I met were happy to share their history and

culture. Albania currently uses their currency, the Albanian Lek, but is expected to change to the Euro in 2020. In the interim, Albania willingly accepts Euros along with the Lek.
