Croatia
The country of Croatia has a very long history. Stone Age tools have been discovered in the country, along with Neanderthal fossils, the presence of the Romans, and Venetians have been recorded as well. Full of energy, and history, this country has much to offer to those who visit. Today, most people may only know of the country because of the Bosnian War waged from 1992-1995, but today the country is peaceful and a delight to visit. The Croatian people are excited to share their homeland and culture with you. They will go far to make sure everything goes as you would like. Croatia uses their own currency, the Croatian Kuna. There are ATMs readily available for you to obtain the Croatian Kuna once you are in the country. Do not feel that you need to do so before your visit. The country has joined the EU (July 2013), but may not join the Eurozone until (2020). In the meantime, they have their own currency.
