The city square is a blend of the old and present. Local shops and stores surround the plaza, and a Roman amphitheater takes up a large portion of the space. Today, not much of the 2^nd century amphitheater is displayed (around half), but it provides a beautiful and unique view of the plaza. The whole plaza plays an important part in the local arts.

One of the most popular shops would be the Gelateria Pasticceria Natale where Italian gelato and amazing pastries are sold. Make sure to get there soon as seats inside and outside fill up quickly!
