The state of California has a very rich history. Originally inhabited by Native Americans and rich in native animals and plants, the area soon became a draw to the rest of the world. The discovery of golden nuggets amplified the interest and a movement to the area. From that influx of prospectors, families moved out West, businesses opened along the way, and large cities formed. People from law makers to farmers, people of the U.S.A. and around the rest of the globe moved there, and a diverse culture began to blend.
