Among the trees, a lasting building begins to show.

While stopping for lunch along the shores of Lake Bennett, have the chance to explore. There are very interesting sites. Discover discarded cans, or other metal pieces from when the prospectors were here. Rather than keeping their trash for a proper disposal, they just threw what they didn’t want into the bushes. Today, we can see these pieces of litter, and they are now protected.

A little further up the hill, get a magnificent view of the lake that lies ahead of your journey.

The amazing wooden detail that still stands is incredible.

St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church was constructed by the mining prospects who stopped here to build their boats. This church once was in the center of these people’s lives, now today is the only remaining structure. The church has been masterfully created with a spire to match its rustic beauty. The weathered building is a testament to the events that once happened here, and helps to better shape ones mind into the effort these people went through.
