The best part of the forest walking tour was at the end. We had the opportunity to feed several reindeer. It was really cool to learn that the girls grow antlers, and they go through the velvet duration as well. Just prior to our visit, our tour guide told us that we were to feed them lettuce leaves, and they will munch them like ATM machine. I thought, “uh, ok.”

We walked a little further on, then rounded the corner. Inside of a corralled pen, there were several reindeer. The lettuce leaves were off to the side, and each of us grabbed a couple. We walked over to the edge of the pen and they came up to us.
